There is just something about that paparazzi look that just grabs your attention and makes you want to look at the beautiful couple in front of you.

While this paparazzi look work really well for high energy moments, it can be a touch distracting in more gentle and tender moments.

Something I absolutely pride myself in, is my ability to take the same exact environment and light it for the exact mood needed. Look at how a gentler and subtle lighting technique absolutely meets the moment in these photos.

As someone who grew up in Cody, Heart Mountain has been the focus of many of my road trips, adventures, and now photo sessions.

This specific location is protected as a nature conservancy. There are lots of native plants and animals which make it a beautiful place to hold a photo session.

Not only is it beautiful, but it is also safe and easy to access from both Cody or Powell in about 30 minutes!

I personally don’t think photography needs to dictate every decision of your wedding. If the aesthetic of your photos doesn’t matter that much to you and you want someone there to photograph things as they happen, it isn’t anything you need to worry about. If you want to craft something that is a little more cohesive, don’t be afraid to discuss your expectations with an expert in the craft. The Wayfarer’s Chapel was created in coordination between Christ Episcopal Church and the Forest Service. You can find it just 8 miles away from the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park.
