Pryor Mountain Maternity Shoot

Women are so incredibly strong, adaptive, beautiful, and nourishing, and pregnancy depicts all of that.

I had the privilege of photographing this couples’ FIRST pregnancy and let me tell you, this baby will be loved. When Izzy contacted me to do this maternity photoshoot, I was ecstatic to help capture this very special moment for her and Hunter.

She let Hunter pick out the color of her dress and he chose blue since they are having a boy. When she showed me the color, I knew immediately we would need a beautiful red backdrop to make her stand out in all of her beauty.

We kept close to the car to ensure we could keep everyone warm. I wanted to prioritize Izzy’s comfort most of all because we were minding not only her but her little baby to come as well. I like to make sure I take the time to get some solo pictures of our expecting mamas. Pregnancy is a miraculous event full of growth and change. While this growth and change can be a source of happiness, it can also be a bit uncomfortable.

It is very important to me to make sure I take a moment to honor, encourage, and empower every woman who steps in front of my camera, especially during such an important moment such as pregnancy.
