Cindy is from Orange County, California and found herself in Dubois, Wyoming for 10 years before landing here in Cody. Cindy has been a hairstylist for 5 years. Once she moved to Cody, she took a few bridal customers and the rest is history. She was hooked and flew back to California for 1-on-1 training with Jessica Keife. She learned all of the best techniques and styles to ensure you leave her chair looking the best for your wedding day.
Besides Cindy’s extensive knowledge on updos and all things bridal, she also goes the extra mile during your bridal trial to ensure your hair is shiny and healthy for your day.
Just imagine this:
During one of the kindest conversation on the phone with Cindy, she tells you to come to your trial with clean dry hair. She suggests taking the time to put a little makeup on and pamper yourself so you feel ready to see your hair the way you will see it on your wedding day. She also suggests wearing a white button-up shirt so you can envision it all together with your wedding dress in mind.
You show up to the salon and are greeted with her welcoming smile and the clean, airy, white interior of the salon. After some conversation possibly recapping your consultation on the phone and nailing down any details about your wedding dress, location, or inspiration for your bridal hair style, she gets to work.
Cindy takes extra care to create a curl pattern that adds texture, volume, and well… curl to your updo. The techniques she learned in her 1-on-1 training have provided her with the skill and knowledge to create beautiful hair styles. The curl prep and curl pattern are one of the most important things to a beautiful updo and Cindy takes extra care to provide the perfect foundation with her curls.
During just 1 and a half hours, Cindy will have shown you up to 4 updos. She doesn’t stop there though. Especially in this high desert climate, your hair needs a little love to show up it’s best for your wedding day. She will take your hair down from its updo and give it a deep conditioning and a gloss finish.
What does deep conditioning do?:
Deep conditioning hydrates your hair. The deep conditioning treatment and a little trim, will keep your hair from looking frizzy. This treatment lasts 2-4 weeks so even after your wedding day, you can enjoy hydrated, healthy hair.
What does the gloss do?:
The gloss will seal your cuticle and keep all of the moisture from the deep conditioning from disappearing. This obviously makes your hair glossy, and is the final touch for wedding ready hair. This treatment lasts 4-6 weeks!
After your hair is pampered and prepared for your wedding day, she styles your hair with a blowout to ensure you leave the salon feeling your best.
Cindy wants to make sure everyone feels beautiful and comfortable when they leave her chair. During our interview, she mentioned that she wants it to feel like her brides are just hanging out with their girlfriends. The environment that Cindy creates for her customers, and anyone that interacts with her is just that. You won’t feel pressured, or uncomfortable in Cindy’s care.
