Diamond View Ranch

This venue, riddled with panoramic views of almost every mountain range in the Bighorn Basin not only offers beautiful views but also privacy as it is tucked up against BLM land.

Diamond View is also conveniently located 17 minutes away from Powell, Wyoming and 24 minutes from Cody, Wyoming.

If you are looking for a wedding venue that isn’t in town, you will have to travel much farther than that for most venues in our area.

Ceremony Site:

There are multiple ways to utilize this venue, but this ceremony site tucked in the corner has a beautiful view!

A panoramic view of Badger Basin and the Beartooth Mountains. This view can be seen from one of the ceremony sites.

The hills affectionately named the “Bench” by Powell residents curves to lead you right to the venue and can be seen from the ceremony site. This view is looking Eastward from the same ceremony site as above.

Reception and Getting Ready: Almost Finished!

The Owner and Vision Behind Diamond View Ranch:

Jamie Blankenship, owner of Diamond View Ranch, sits for a photo on the beautiful bench swing she received from her husband as a gift. Currently, it rests perfectly in front of Heart Mountain.

Getting Ready Suites: About Time We Had Some

Jamie’s attention to detail is rather exciting for me as a photographer. Although I couldn’t see everything put all the way together yet, I could see the vision for it as she explained her plans for the space.

A getting ready space exclusively designed for the men in one building and the women in the other is good enough, but the attention to detail in the aesthetic and functionality is exciting to anticipate.

I also appreciate that these spaces are only about 4 feet away from each other. I will be able to bounce back and forth between suites quickly and therefore provide a variety of photos easier and quicker.

The interior of each suite has a vaulted ceiling that is split right down the middle by a wall. The wall meets the highest point of the vaulted ceiling and splits the building into a lounge/getting ready area and a bathroom area.

The men’s suite has black metal and burnt wood details throughout. There will be a mini bar in the lounge area. The furniture is black with weathered rivet details.

The women’s suite will have seven lighted mirrors, a special hanging spot for the bride’s wedding dress, and a larger bathroom to accommodate larger bridal parties and provide privacy for changing into your wedding apparel.

If you are worried about the metal buildings getting hot, please don’t!

While I was there, I was able to see how much insulation was installed. Even unfinished, the suites were absolutely cooler than it was outside.

More to Come:

There are plenty of other exciting things to come with this venue, but I don’t want to show them off before Jamie gets to. If you are curious about this exciting venue and all that it has to offer, make sure to contact Jamie through her website!
